IAC Ethical Standards

  1. All members should relate to each other in a humane and non discriminative manner and with fairness.
  2. Information about members and stakeholders is not to be sold to third parties.
  3. Information concerning members requiring referral/s must be made with the members consent.
  4. Staff to address concerns of the organisation’s management regarding the conduct of  members that is either unethical or of an illegal nature. These concerns are then reported to the manager in charge of grievances procedures.
  5. Encourage greater community participation with programs and events
  6. Staff to provide duty of care to the needs and objectives of members and stakeholders through information sharing and feedback processes.
  7. Staff to provide clear and transparent records of actions and activities undertaken with members and stakeholders.
